Meet Chef Rocco

Originally from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Chef Rocco has been a Tampa Bay resident for over 32 years. He started working in restaurants at 15 years old- taking his first job as a dishwasher in a small family-owned Italian Restaurant. He knew the kitchen was where he wanted to be from that point on. Luckily, it didn’t take very long before he was promoted onto the line.

After many years moving up the chain in the restaurant world, he got the amazing opportunity to lead the kitchen of a new and growing Tampa Bay catering company as their Executive Chef. Bringing in his talent and passion for good food, they quickly grew their operation to one of the largest catering companies in the Bay Area. This part of his career was something he was— and still is— very proud of.

In 2017, Ready for his next challenge, Chef Rocco ventured off to start his own business as a private chef. Growing rapidly and in high-demand to cater larger events, Chef Rocco Catering was officially founded in 2019 where he quickly established his reputation as the go-to high-end, luxury caterer in Tampa Bay.
